2012 - Dolls

Created with and for the Lexington community, more than 1,000 dolls were hidden along Limestone Ave under the cover of darkness as gifts for the people who found them the next day.

1000 Dolls

Working with local artist Ed Franklin, students at the University of Kentucky, and hundreds of Lexingtonians, CETA made 1,114 dolls (our goal was 1,000), using paper, color pens, wood, socks, thread, buttons, embellishments, and clay. We curated an exhibition and a community celebration at the Kentucky Theater before hiding the dolls along Limestone Ave.
